Why preventionOS exists
Prevention program teams have always run on tools built for something else. preventionOS is the operating system for the day-to-day work.
Prevention program teams have always run on tools built for something else.
Spreadsheets. Form-makers. Calendar tools. Generic learning platforms. Case-management products designed for a different problem. Each one solves a slice, none of them holds the work, and the program team spends its week stitching across all of them. Funders demand outcomes. Boards ask the same five questions every quarter. The Director of Prevention answers them by hand, from data that lives in six places.
That is the problem preventionOS exists to solve.
One operating system, five modules
preventionOS is the operating system for prevention work. Five modules, each holding one part of the operational lifecycle: Strategic Planning, Training, Community Outreach Manager, Legislative Research, Research. Training is live today. The other four are in development. Each module has its own dashboards and reports built in, not a separate reporting layer to set up. AI is available in every module if your program team wants help, and the platform works the same way without it.
The Research module is optional and adds a cross-organization layer on top of the operational data your program team is already producing. Opt-in. Anonymized. Your data does not leave your tenant unless your program team chooses.
Built with practitioners
Every workflow on preventionOS exists because the teams running real prevention training validated it. The platform updates regularly based on what the program teams using it actually need. As more prevention organizations join, more practitioners shape what it becomes next.
Preventionos.org is where the public-facing story lives. The roadmap page tracks what is shipped, what is shipping, and what is in development. We do not claim features that are not live.
If you run a prevention program, the demo page is the starting point.
